(NEW HAVEN, IN.) The New Haven Chamber of Commerce has named Charles Hatten to be its new President/CEO. Hatten is expected to assume his new position July 1.

Hatten is a long time New Haven resident who has served the New Haven Chamber in several capacities for over 10 years.  Hatten is currently serving as the Past Board Chair.  During this period, the Chamber’s membership more than doubled and membership revenues grew by 300%. He replaces Vince Buchanan who will become the new Executive Director of the Regional Chamber on July 1.

“The New Haven Chamber of Commerce has enjoyed significant success over the past several years, and our support for the citizens and businesses of our community continue to be our primary mission.  We are pleased that Charles accepted the challenge of leading this important organization and help us move forward and build on an already strong track record,” said Rob Callahan, Chairman of its Board of Directors.

Hatten has been involved in serving the community on several boards and currently leads a program serving Military Families in Northeast Indiana.  He held various leadership positions at Tokheim, Petroleum Parts and Briljent.  He graduated IPFW with a Bachelors Degree in Business and IVY Tech with an Associate in Computer Technology.  Charles and his wife of 40 years, Teresa has 2 daughters, 5 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
