WARREN G. “BUD” HARDING, 90, of New Haven, died on Wednesday, Aug. 28, 2013, at Genesis Health Care, New Haven. Born in LaGrange County, he was the son of the late Harry and Catherine Harding. He was a member of North Park Community Church, Fort Wayne. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He retired in 1985 from United Trucking Service after 21 years, and again in 1995 from East Allen County Schools as a bus driver for 16 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Jan; children, Ronald (Gwen) Harding of Avilla, Terry (Jo Ann) Harding of Fort Wayne, Kent Harding of Kendallville, Victoria (Todd) Fiandt of Garrett, and Becky (Eric) Hall of Fort Wayne; step-sons, Richard (Chris) Pankop of New Haven and Jeffrey Pankop of Albion; brothers, Robert Harding of Avilla and Jerry Harding of Arizona; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his sisters, Phyllis Raines, Mary Jane Blue, and Dorothy Cousino. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013, at North Park Community Church, 7160 Flutter Road, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Scott Qualls officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 2, 2013, at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven, with military honors.
