JACK K. FLORY, 92, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, Jack worked as a material scheduler with Tokheim Corporation for 28 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, Holy Name Society at St. John and Quarter Century Club of Tokheim Corporation. He was a family man that enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and writing poems. Surviving are his wife, Thelma Flory of New Haven; son, Bob J. (Pam) Flory of New Haven; daughters, Carol A. Kern of Fort Wayne, Mary L. (Francis) Byanski of Hilliard, Ohio, Joyce L. (Rex) Gepfert of Gulf Shores, Ala. and Elaine M. (Steve) Screeton of New Haven; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and sister, Elizabeth Mitchell of Fort Wayne. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Catherine Flory; three brothers; and four sisters. Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven, with calling one hour prior. Fr. William Sullivan officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 27, 2013, at D.O. McComb & Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., with a Vigil service starting at 4:30 p.m. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.
