Dr. Ken Folks

1.) EACS Changes. The number one story of 2013 not only concerned New Haven High School, it concerned the whole EACS Family.  The EACS board decided to change the names of the two New Haven elementary schools and organize all the students by grades. The board made this decision due to transportation, school schedules, and also to have every New Haven student a “Bulldog” from start to finish. Meadowbrook Elementary became New Haven Intermediate, while Highland Terrance is now New Haven Primary. Another BIG change was the stepping down of Dr. Karyle Green as superintendent of the district. Her position was filled by Dr. Kenneth Folks. Dr. Folks is a native of Allen County, and received both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in secondary education from IPFW in addition to his administrator’s license.  He received his doctorate in educational leadership from Purdue University.
