WILLIAM FRANCIS ROHYANS, 89, of New Haven since 1969, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, surrounded by his loving family at Parkview Hospital – Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Gregory and Catherine Rohyans. The U.S. Navy World War II veteran was an Honor Flight recipient. He retired in 1986 from BF Goodrich after 26 years as a machinist. He was an avid artist, woodworker and cook. He is survived by his daughters, Julie (Jeff) Smith and Jennifer Hope, both of Fort Wayne; sister, Margie Anderson of Pleasanton, Calif.; and grandsons, John W. Hope and Matthew D. Smith, both of Fort Wayne. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Gregory. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Catholic Parish, 2120 Harrison St., Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Father William Kummer officiating.
