PAUL J. LARSON, 66, of New Haven, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2014, unexpectedly. Born in Fort Wayne, he was the son of the late Fred and Bernice Larson. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven and the Holy Name Society. Paul served his country in the U.S. Army, was a member of American Legion Post 330, and was a volunteer fireman for the New Haven Fire Department. He retired after 36 years from BF Goodrich. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela (Mike) Estep of Fort Wayne; sisters, Rita (Don) Chislaghi of Beavercreek, Ohio, Theresa (Dave Flesch) Larson of Stoughton, Wis., Mary Larson of Denver, Colo., Joan (Jim) Lawrence of Fort Wayne, Monica Larson of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, and Patty (Jerry) Trowbridge of Leo; and brothers, Dave (Betty) Larson of Johnstown, Ohio, Steve (Cindy) Larson of Fort Wayne, and Dan (Debi) Larson of Six Mile, S.C. He was also preceded in death by wife, Mary, in 2005; and niece, Susan Lawrence. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Friday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven, with calling one hour prior. Father Mark Enemali officiating. Calling also from 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, with a sharing of memories at 6:30 p.m. Burial in the church cemetery with military honors.
