Sixth graders at Central Lutheran School spent three days emerged in outdoor ministry and education at Camp Lutherhaven with their teachers, Miss Amanda Graham, Mrs. Debbie Schmidt, Mr. Don Wichman, and Mrs. Helen Best.  While at camp, students also completed their yearly service project.  They created fleece quilts to be donated by Camp Lutherhaven.  Many thanks to the parents who volunteered their time and talents throughout the trip, most especially to Mr. and Mrs. Lynn and Bev Werling who have been volunteering for this trip for over 25 years!  We would also like to thank Mr. Jim Kremer, a retired CLS teacher, who continues to volunteer his time for this trip and Mrs. Joyce Bell who organizes all of the food for the approximately 60 people in attendance for the three days’ activities.
