Property Tax Bills Are Due Monday, November 10, 2014.

Chief Deputy Treasurer William Royce wants to remind everyone that the fall property tax due date is fast approaching.

“Taxes are due Monday, November 10 and must be in our office or postmarked by that date to be considered on time.” Royce said. He also wants to remind taxpayers that local banks are no longer collecting payments.

“We know that paying at the bank was convenient for some taxpayers but due to process changes it is no longer timely or efficient.” said Royce.

Many payment options are available; in person, by mail, electronically through the Treasurer’s website, by credit card, payments can be dropped off in the Child Support drop box on the south end of the courthouse, on your smartphone or mobile device, or you can use the self-pay kiosk at the Treasurer’s office.  There are also a variety of payment plans available.

When mailing payments, mail to: Allen County Treasurer, PO Box 2540, Fort Wayne, IN  46801-2540.
