ALBERT SCHMUCKER, 85, of New Haven, passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015, at his home. A member of the Old Order Amish Church, Albert was a retired farmer and mason of 50 years. Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Martha (Witmer) Schmucker of New Haven; children, David (Anna) Schmucker of Grabill, Mervin (Delilah) Schmucker of New Haven, Martin (Susan) Schmucker of Grabill, Louis (Rosemary) Schmucker and Benjamin (Barbara) Schmucker, both of New Haven, Thomas (Darlene) Schmucker of Grabill, Alva (Verna) Schmucker of Antwerp, Ohio, Lester (Amanda) Schmucker of Grabill, Paul (Mary) Schmucker and Albert (Barbara ) Schmucher Jr., both of New Haven, Martha (Menno) Schmucker of Woodburn, and Susan (Daniel) Lengacher of Grabill; 89 grandchildren; 142 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and brother, Enos (Loraine) Schmucker of New Haven. He was preceded in death by his parents, Christian and Barbara Schmucker; siblings, Amos (Mary) Schmucker, John (Viola) Schmucker, Christian (Leah) Schmucker, Mary (Noah) Eicher, Rosa (Menno) Steury, Margaret (Henry) Graber, and Martha (Jerome) Graber; two grandchildren. Service is 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at 11009 Stellhorn Road, New Haven, IN 46774, with Bishop Eldon Lengacher officiating.
