NAOMI RUTH STRABBING, 90, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at home with her family by her side. Born in Antigo, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Kathryn Sires. She was a member of St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, New Haven and the rosary sodality. She worked as a bridal seamstress for over 20 years. She is survived by her children, Lynn (Robert) Durkin of McCordsville, Janet (Ken) Rauch and Christine (Dave) Ottenweller, both of New Haven, Robert (Linda) Strabbing of Churubusco, Thomas (Katie) Strabbing of Ankeny, Iowa, Patricia Nichols of Fort Wayne, and Mary Strabbing-Gump of Huntertown; 25 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Strabbing, in 1988; son, Timothy Strabbing; brother, Thomas Sires; grandson, Nicholas Gump; great-grandson, Jacob Berger; and son-in-law, Dan Nichols. Prayers are 9 a.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday at St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, 15535 Lincoln Hwy, New Haven. Father Stephen Colchin officiating.
