JAMES E. “SATCH” TODD, 82, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at home. Born in Wauseon, Ohio, he was the son of the late Ralph and Flossie Todd. He was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church. The U.S. Navy veteran served his country during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 330, Navy Club Ship 245, and the Loyal Order of Moose. He retired in 1993 from Magnavox Corp after 34 years of service and was a member of the Magnavox Quarter Century Club. He loved flowers, gardening, and spending time with the family, especially at the lake. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, MaryEllen; children, Jill (Tom) Fisher of Fort Wayne and Marc (Cy Orfield) Todd of Weehawken, N.J.; grandchildren, Rick and Carly Fisher both of Fort Wayne; and sister, Annabelle Todd Baumgartner of Bryan, Ohio. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Todd. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Haven United Methodist Church, 630 Lincoln Hwy E., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Chuck Fenwick officiating. Calling also from 2 to 5 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the church.
