Robert “Joe” Joseph Wright III, 54, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, he was a 1981 graduate of New Haven High School. He was a former member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven. For the past 36 years he was the plant manager of Aunt Millie’s Bakery, Fort Wayne. Joe enjoyed sports and camping, but his love for family and spoiling his grandchildren came before anything.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Brenda; daughters, Krysta (Joshua) Swygart, Rachel (Mike) Carter, Megan (DeShawn) Cann, and Roberta (Drew Dominique) Wright all of New Haven; mother, Sharon Wright of Barnes, WI; siblings, Jan (John) Moyer, Karen Stanley both of New Haven, Ryan (Carol) Wright of Jackson, OH, and Steve (Shayna Helmke) Wright of Fort Wayne; and grandchildren, Taylor, Emma, Henry, Lucas, Landon, Isaac, Amira, Kennedy, Grace, and Olivia. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Joseph Wright Jr. and infant brother, Brian Wright.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Calling is also 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with vigil at 3 p.m.. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the Parkview Foundation to benefit the ECMO Program at the Parkview Heart Institute.
