BETTY L. PELLETIER, 83, of New Haven, went home to the Lord on Sunday Jan. 3, 2016. Born in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Richard R. and Adah M. (Barrett) Elliott. She was a loyal member of the New Haven United Methodist Church and taught Sunday school for 32 years at the Evangelical United Brethren Church, Faith UMC, and Good Shepherd UMC. Betty was a devoted wife, mother, den mother, and homemaker. She drove the family ski boat for over 18 years, leading to her husband and son winning several Indiana state championships in trick skiing. She is survived by her son, Michael (Christine) Pelletier; and grandsons, Benjamin (Lucy) and David. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Pelletier; brother, Karl F. Elliott; and sisters, Gladys Elliott Shrake and Floreine Elliott Curtis. Service is 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, at New Haven United Methodist Church, 630 Lincoln Hwy E., New Haven, with visitation one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to New Haven United Methodist Church Youth Ministry. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery New Haven. Arrangements by Klaehn, Fahl Melton Funeral Home.
