KAY SEAY, 74, of New Haven, departed this life Wednesday, March 2, 2016. She was born Dec. 17, 1941, in Champaign, Ill. After graduating from Ramey High School in Puerto Rico, in 1959, Kay attended Texas Women’s University. She was a devoted wife, and loving mother. She was active in local parent-teacher organizations, the League of Women Voters, and other groups. She taught Sunday school, led Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts. She collected rocking horses, nutcrackers and antiques. Mostly, she collected friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Robert Paul Seay; children, Robert Jr. (Ginger) Seay, James (Robin) Seay, Rebecca (Jeremy) Ford, David, and Joshua; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Diane Irvin; brother, Jim Irvin; and her many friends. Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016, with viewing and visitation one hour prior, at Christ’s Hope Church, 2812 Carroll Road, Fort Wayne. Viewing and visitation also from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2016, at the church. Arrangements by Midwest Funeral Home & Cremation Society, 4602 Newaygo Road, Fort Wayne.
