STEVEN R. SPENCER, 65, passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at home with his family by his side. Born in Los Alamos, New Mexico, he was the son of the late Harvey and Wilma (Peterson) Spencer. He served his country in the Air National Guard. Steven was a painter at Tokheim for 28 years and later went on to work at Nu-tec. He was also a proud member of the Tokheim Quarter Century Club. He loved his family, friends, God, and his country. He also loved music and fast cars. He is survived by his children, Clinton Spencer of Angola, Theodore Spencer of Auburn, and Christina (Mike) Bauer of Fort Wayne; sister, Karen (Stephen) Urschel of New Haven; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven, with calling one hour prior. Pastor Scott Zeckzer officiating. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in I.O.O.F. Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the Community Harvest Food Bank.
