THOMAS MICHAEL LEE, 59, of Fort Wayne, passed away on Sunday June 5, 2016, at his home with his family by his side. Born Oct. 16, 1956, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late Wayne and Vesta (Doctor) Lee. Tom was a self-employed mechanic who also worked at Pro-tow. He built race cars for many years and enjoyed racing at Baer Field Motorsports Park. He was easy-going, loved to make people laugh, and took pride in protecting his family and friends. He is survived by his sons, Terry Lee of Fort Wayne, Michael Bosely of Charleston, W.Va., and Thomas M. Lee II of Pendleton; seven grandchildren; sisters, Vesta Ware of Fort Wayne, Mary (Mike) Jones of New Haven, and Carla Lee of Fort Wayne; and brothers, Steve (Bev) Lee and Phillip Lee, both of Fort Wayne. He was also preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Mark Ware. Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2016, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven, with calling beginning at 9 a.m. until the start of the service. Preferred memorials may be made to The Salvation Army or the Goshen Center for Cancer Care.
