Hit/Run Accident in New Haven Leaves Victim in Critical Condition New Haven Police and New Haven Adams Township Fire/EMS responded to a two car accident in the 7000 block of Moeller Rd at 6:30pm this evening. Officers arriving on scene found one driver in serious condition in a pickup truck. The driver of the other vehicle, an SUV, had left the scene on foot. The driver of the pickup truck was in serious condition and taken to an area hospital where his condition was downgraded to critical. Witnesses at the scene told officers that the SUV was traveling east on Moeller Rd and all of a sudden turned to the north striking the pickup truck who had been traveling west on Moeller Rd at the time of the crash. The suspect who fled the scene on foot is described by witnesses as a light skinned black, Asian or Hispanic female in her late teens to mid twenties wearing black pants and a red flannel shirt. The suspect was last seen on foot walking away from the crash. A perimeter was set up but as of this time the suspect has not been located. Officers are currently following up on leads of a possible suspect and there will be an update posted if she is caught or identified.
