MYLA HYMAN-HEINE

MYLA HYMAN-HEINE, 82, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Rockford, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Hugo and Lorena (Stuckey) Weinman. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven, where she actively served on the Ladies Society. She formerly owned a family business. Myla enjoyed playing bridge, golf, and cheering for Indiana University basketball. Above all she loved her family. She is survived by her daughters, Mellany (Dennis) Secrist and Lori (Robert) Nelson, both of New Haven; step-children, Colleen Peters, Charles Heine, Stanley Heine, Dave Heine, and Gwyn Mannion; sisters, Mary Breithaupt of Syracuse, N.Y., and Mona Thompson of Rockford, Ohio; grandchildren, Kari Secrist, Rachel Schaller, Andrew Nelson, Staci Krueger, and Haley Nelson; 18 step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and 18 step-great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by husbands, Robert Hyman, in 1998, and Gaylord Heine, in 2016. Memorial service is 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St., New Haven, with calling one hour prior to service. Pastor Scott Zeckzer officiating. Visitation also from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Harper’s Community Funeral Home, 740 S.R. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, Fort Wayne.
