On Saturday, February 25, 2012, the New Haven faculty in cooperation with New Haven alumni basketball players will host an odd vs even graduating year alumni men’s basketball game to benefit the Nate Snyder family.  Nate and Dana (Heine) Snyder’s   soon-to-be three year old son, Greyson, has been recently diagnosed with Leukemia and all proceeds are earmarked to help defray expenses for the Snyder family.

Former Bulldog coaches, Steve Screeton and Kurt Dager along with organizer Dave Bischoff are seeking all former Bulldog basketball players who graduated prior to 2006 to participate. Cost for participation is a $20.00 donation and will include a t-shirt. There is no age limit and “senior” players are encouraged to participate in a format that will pit odd vs even graduating years in order of graduating year. Former players who don’t wish to run up and down the court are encouraged to still register and sign on as “designated free throw shooter” to allow for more participation.  Anyone interested should contact either Steve Screeton,  (sscreeton@eacs.k12.in.us ,  341-5307 or Kurt Dager at kdager@eacs.k12.in.us , 341-1258 or Dave Bischoff at dbischoff@eacs.k12.in.us – 223-4427

Sarah Rose (Matthews) and Judy Hunt (Sturm) former New Haven cheerleaders and current  faculty members at New Haven are organizing former cheerleaders for the game.  Any former cheerleaders who are interested should contact either Sarah Rose, srose@eacs.k12.in.us or Judy Hunt at juhunt@eacs.k12.in.us.

In addition to the alumni game, there will be a faculty v. student preliminary basketball game beginning at 6:00PM. The alumni game will immediately follow at approximately 7:30 PM.

All tickets sales are at the door the day of the game. A donation of $5.00 per adult and $2.00 per student is appreciated.
